RBC is thrilled to support the National College of Ireland’s (NCI) Early Learning Initiative (ELI) Coding Club enabling more young people to learn about technology in a fun and challenging way.

Partnering with the Irish Fund Industry’s registered charity, basis.point, RBC will be supporting the club through funding and volunteer work on a two year programme. The club, which is run by staff of NCI’s School of Computing and volunteers in afterschool settings, teaches local students not only how to code, build and test robots but also the importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) based subjects and learning.

Padraig Kenny, Managing Director, RBC I&TS Ireland said “We’re thrilled to be able to support the ELI Coding Club so that more young people can learn about how technology and data are revolutionizing our lives. This fantastic local initiative not only teaches children about the range of emerging technologies but also equips them with the skills to be leaders of this digital revolution.”
