The Settlement Discipline Regime (SDR) came into effect on February 1, 2022 and at RBC I&TS we make every effort that our clients are informed about these changes. Please note, on November 24, 2021 a regulatory amendment was agreed by three institutions of the European Union to allow for the mandatory buy-in rules of SDR to be postponed. These did not come into effect with other aspects of the regime on February 1, 2022.
